Deady Bear.

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

Being a sentimental sort I just couldn’t throw away the bear I’ve had for 30 years, so he was sat on a shelf in my office.

Wilf the dog managed to get hold of him and have his wicked way, it wasn’t pretty.

Dead Teddy

Poor old Pooh.

I made this to try to improve my photoshop skills, using some blood spatter effects I found by smashing words into my keyboard on a search engine. It would be rude not to link to Peterpson’s blood spatter brushes since I’ve benefited from them

More Holga antics

Roll numbers 3 and 4 from the Holga< are with us, and it’s mixed results. The first roll was Kodak Portra ISO400, and came out quite well. The second roll was Fuji Provia ISO100 slide film – and here lies my problem. I rushed out and bought 30 odd rolls of cheap 120 slide film on ebay, then realised my local lab can’t process slide film… Oops.

They offered to cross process the film, which involves processing the E6 film in C41 chemicals, and can apparently give interesting results. In my case they just all came out green! On the plus side they are at least in focus, so I’m making progress!

A sneaky black and white conversion and they are rescued from the bin, but as they are all a bit underexposed, they’ve taken on a Ingmar Bergman look, which I quite like in a desolate and moody kind of way.

The colour pier, and the photo of Wilf the dog are from the Kodak 400 film, the others are all from the Fuji Provia 100.

You can click on any of these to rebigulate them!

Suzuki Ignis Sport

New Year, new car – this time a Suzuki Ignis Sport. In spite of the torrent of abuse I’ve received due to it looking like a granny wagon on steroids, I like it.

It’s got whizzy vented and grooved brake disks, and sticky Yokohama Advan tyres. If you are a big car nerd like me, you’ll know that’s good. Ooh and Recaro seats!

Ooooooh…..

Pay no attention to the little head in the rear window. Cheeky monkey.

Studio, Studio, where for art thou, Studio?

Monday, October 9th, 2006

After lots and lots and lots of white paint, I now have my garage/studio finished, allowing me to force poor unsuspecting idiots in and then I take photos of them. Bwwwwahhhhhaaahahaha. Fools.

First victim is Wilf the dog, he’s so cute, after taking this photo I ate him.

Wilf in the studio

He ‘nose’, you know.

Just realised it’s the middle of may and my site is still showing all my rubbish photographs from April, cripes, what a fool I am. I’ve decided not to do a seperate page for every month mainly cos I’m too lazy, so there.

Anyway, so far this week there have been two electrical storms, first one was possibly the most spectacular I have ever seen, and the camera was at home, perfect. Second one started so I legged it home, and grabbed the camera, and the storm then fizzled out. Great.

So here is a picture of Wilf, just to mix things up and make a nice change.

Wilf Nose the score...(sorry)
