Went out with my new pin hole camera this morning to take some photos. I’d forgotten two things.
1.) You don’t get instant results with film. I want to see the pictures but I can’t! Argh! I wonder if Asda will process it…
2.) I’ve got a new computer so I can’t bloody scan the results anyway! Double argh!
Luckily I had my little Leica with me so I could at least do something when I got home! It also gives me something to compare the pinhole shots against.

Just going over some old photos from our Kenya Safari. Amazing memories, almost can’t believe I was there.

There is a strong possibility more photos will follow…..

Been in London a couple of times this week working and naturally have to go in shops and spend money.
One of the more unusual purchases was this thing:

Basically it’s a flat pack 35mm pin hole panoramic camera. The sunset looked good tonight so I decided I’d build it and get out to take some pics. Easy right?

Right?

Wrong.
Anyway, fast forward a while and I’m here

Fast forward a bit longer and I’m done.

Sunset long finished and no doubt I won’t get a chance to go out again for ages – so I guess I’ll share any results as and when I get them.

So I just sent this:
Dear Amazonz,
I have personally sat on many books without materially altering my subsequent reading experience, so you can imagine my shock and distress when my Amazon Kindle broke the very first time I sat on it.
I have watched your recent television campaign where you state that “the book lives”. It is quite plain for anyone to see that this is quite simply not the case. The book is dead. I find myself now clutching a primitive paper based entertainment item known also as a “book”, which frankly makes me feel like some sort of cave man.
What’s worse is that the death of the kindle occurred on the first day of my holiday leaving me with nothing to read for six whole days. I almost died of boredom. I feel that Amazon is at least partly to blame for this.
Please assist at your earliest convenience.
Yours, Kindle-lessly.
Ben Dobson

We’ll see what happens next.
